A Bit About Me
Life is a journey. I was once taught that if you skip the process for progress, you will not
be prepared. Everyone’s adventure is uniquely designed for them. As a professional helper, I am
here to provide a safe space that will afford every client an opportunity to create a narrative of
their own story. Let me introduce you to a non-judgmental approach that fosters an environment
where you are empowered to grow. Through finding a healthy life balance, I would like to
encourage you in establishing healthy boundaries (personal/professional); create mind, body, and
spiritual synergy; develop self-awareness and advocacy strategies.
As a Liberty University alumnus, my educational experience includes an undergraduate
degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Psychology and Business Management. My
passion is people, and my purpose is servanthood, so it became essential to further my education
in pursuit of a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a psychotherapist, I have
a particular interest in working with men, the underserved, marginalized groups, veterans, PTSD,
and those challenged with depression and/or anxiety. I take pride in equipping those in
partnership with the tools and resources to legitimize life’s goals in a setting conducive to thrive.
I would love the opportunity to walk alongside you as you navigate through the toils that life
sometimes bring.
Prior to pursuing serving in the helping profession, I served 20 years in the U.S. military
where I committed to being “my brother’s and my sister’s keeper.” In both peacetime/wartime
environments, I have championed skills in the areas of effective communication, conflict
resolution, accountability through team building strategies, and solidarity. With the mindset of
leaving no one behind, I take great honor in fighting for victory with you through employing
treatment methods that are unique to your specific needs.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, travel, outdoor
activities and fitness training. My core values are integrity, service, and excellence. I have served
my country; now I pledge to be of service to you in your pursuit of wholeness.
